George Lukoski

George Robert Lukoski, age 86, of Ripon, WI, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, November 13, 1992.

He was born May 2, 1906 in Ripon, the son of Jacob and Elizabeth (Hibicki) Lukoski. George was educated in Ripon and married Vera Colligan on December 28, 1926. She preceded him in death on October 31, 1987. George was a salesman at Krause Motors in Ripon, and worked for 40 years at Smith Laundry. After Smiths closed he was a maintenance man at Fabriko and eventually worked as a car livery person for Ford-Mercury in Ripon. In recent years George transported many of Ripons elderly to important appointments and social functions. He was a life member and secretary of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church under Father Joseph Platta. He was also a member of Ripon Senior Citizens.

George is survived by one son, Robert (Carol) Lukoski of Ripon, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, two sisters: Lucille Lehman of Ripon and Mary Koester of Fond du Lac. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters.

Funeral services for George Lukoski will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 16, 1992 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Ripon with the Reverend William Toelle officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. Friends may call from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 15, 1992 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established in his name for St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church of Ripon.
