George Francis Mazurowski, age 82, of Markesan, WI, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2012, at Markesan Resident Home.
George was born on July 20, 1930, in Chicago, IL, the son of John and Emily (Rezek) Mazurowski. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake. George was a Chicago Bears fan and a Cubs fan.
Survivors include three nieces, Jeanette Butzin, Maryann Kramer and Rosemary Pierchala and two nephews, Tom Maz and John McKenna. George was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, John, Val and Joseph Mazurowski and two sisters, Mercedes McKenna and Bernadette Lubarsky.
A private family graveside service was held on Monday, October 1, 2012, at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip, IL. Memorials may be directed to United Cerebral Palsy of Southeastern Wisconsin, 7519 W. Oklahoma Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53219.
