Georgine Mill, age 66, of 903 Ransom St., Ripon, died Wednesday, January 1, 2003, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.
She was born February 9, 1936, in Ripon, the daughter of George and Martha (Linetty) Schave. She was a graduate of Ripon High School, and on April 27, 1958, she married Francis “Buck” Mill. Georgine worked at the Ripon Medical Center for 20 years in the insurance and billing department. She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Sodality, and had lived in Ripon all of her life.
Survivors include 1 son, John Mill of Arizona; 2 daughters, Jane Kollin (Shane) and their children, John & Jeffrey of Ripon, and Susan Peppler (Doug) and their children, Adam & Austin, and step-granddaughter, Shae; 2 sisters, Joan Mathia (Robert) of Ripon and Judy Goyette (James) of Oshkosh; 1 brother, Thomas Schave of Waupun; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, January 4, 2003, at 11 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert A. Fictum officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, and again on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon. A memorial has been established.
