Gilbert W. Krentz, age 76, of Santa Fe, NM, formerly of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 1991, at St. Vincents Hospital in Santa Fe.
He was born July 31, 1915, in the Town of Neshkoro, the son of Frank and Anna (Marshall) Krentz. He married Susan M. Bukowski on April 29, 1936. Mr. Krentz was a truck driver for Van Metres and Speed Queen in Ripon for 36 years until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, and one daughter, Patricia A. Nikolai, both of Santa Fe, NM; two sons, Gilbert Krentz, Jr. of Princeton, and Dr. Roger F. Krentz of Whitewater; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Edna Bukowski of Sheboygan Falls; and one brother, Donald Krentz of Oscala, FL. He was preceded in death by one brother.
Friends may call Sunday, September 15, 1991, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral Services for Gilbert W. Krentz will be held Monday, September 16, 1991, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Princeton with the very Reverend Regis Barwig of the Community of Our Lady officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
