Gilbert Frederick Meyer, age 51, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, June 11, 1962, at his home.
Gilbert was born May 27, 1911, in Kiel, WI, the son of John and Ella (Brandt) Meyer. On July 2, 1945, he married Hazel Gatzke. Gilbert was a substation operator for the Wisconsin Power and Light.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel; children, Richard, Kathleen and Charles; four sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Treadwell of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Ewald Krueger of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Delbert Mally of Milwaukee and Mrs. Ervin Buck of Manitowoc. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call on Wednesday, June 13, 1962, after 3:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Gilbert will be held on Thursday, June 14, 1962, at 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home with The Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
