Mrs. Gisela L. Youell, 75, of 430 Ranson St., Ripon, died Sunday, June 18, 1989, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 22, 1914, in Pickett to Arthur and Nellie Schlender Hinz. On September 24, 1949, she married Harry Youell. He preceded her in death on October 20, 1960.
Mrs. Youell was a 1936 graduate of Ripon College. She had lived in Lake Geneva until moving to Ripon in 1961. She was a former receptionist at the Yeoman's Chiropratic Office, manager of the Ripon Knitting Works Outlet Store and was a former economist for the Wisconsin Power and Light in Lake Geneva and Ripon. She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Ripon and a member of the Church Guild. She was also a past member of the Ripon Business and Professional Womens Club.
Survivors include one son, Harry of Winnepeg, Canada; five daughters, Annelle Anderson of Sheboygan, Barbara Kimball of Gladstone, MI, Kathryn Van Wie of Ripon, Lorraine Morgan of Minneapolis and Margaret Bugarske of Stevens Point; eight grandchildren and two sisters, Lorraine Luetke of Ripon and Loretta (Irvin) Schroeder of Plymouth. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 pm, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church. The Reverend Robert J.C. Brown will officiate and interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon.
Friends may call Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon.
