Gladys V. Kovalaske, 75, of 57 Cedar St., Ripon, passed away August 31, 2004, at her home.
She was born November 4, 1928, in Ripon, the daughter of Frank and Viola (Butzin) Lueck. She attended school in Ripon, and in 1945, married Norman Kovalaske at Scott St Church in Ripon.. Gladys had been a cookie packer at Ripon Wafer Co. for 16 years. She attended Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Survivors include her children, Donald (Barbara) Kovalaske of Mukwanago, Sharon Finley, Dennis (Mary) Kovalaske, Darwin Kovalaske, and Dale Kovalaske, all of Ripon; 19 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 sons, Daniel and David.
Funeral service for Gladys V. Kovalaske will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 3, 2004, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with Rev. Mark R. West officiating. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Nepeuskun Cemetery, Town of Nepeuskun. A memorial has been established.
