Gladys C. Krueger, age 87, of Ripon, passed away at her home on April 2, 2007.
Gladys was born on June 10, 1919 in Fond du Lac County, the daughter of George and Dorathea (Schwandt) Giffey. She graduated from High School in Bathgate, N.D. Gladys worked at Bremner (Ripon Foods) as a cookie packer for 37 years. She married Otto H. Krueger on July 7, 1941 in Fond du Lac County and lived in Ripon and was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Survivors include her three sons; Otto B. Krueger of Seymour, WI, William (Joan) Krueger of Sparta, WI, and David (Marilyn) Krueger of N. Fond du Lac, WI, five grandchildren; Laurie (Steven) Broas of Milwaukee, WI, Jeffrey (Heidi) Krueger of Port Washington, WI, William (Stacie) Krueger of Buffalo, WY, Amber Krueger of Sparta, WI, Adam Krueger of N. Fond du Lac, WI,
Three great-grandchildren; Ella, Olivia, and Josie, six nieces and four nephews, and one brother, Oscar Giffey of Rosendale, WI. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents George and Dora Giffey, husband Otto H. Krueger, daughter-in-law Connie Krueger, 2 brothers; George Giffey, and Lyle Giffey.
Visitation for Gladys Krueger will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 from 4 to 8:00 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, and again on Thursday, April 5, 2007 from 1 to 2:00 pm at Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Funeral Services for Gladys Krueger will be held on Thursday, April 5th, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon with Reverend Gerald Schrankler officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Ripon. A memorial has been established.
The family would also like to thank Gladys caregivers who showed her great love & respect: Casey, Norma, Deb, Christine, Donna, and Meliora. Also, special thanks & love to our Hospice Advantage team of Betty, Stacie & Sue for all their support and kindness.
