Glenda L. Turner, age 69, of Fairwater, WI, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at her home with her family by her side.

Glenda was born on May 6, 1944, in Hutchinson, KS, the daughter of Harold and Darlene (Mitchell) Schroll. She graduated from high school and went on to get her degree in Nursing from Aultman School of Nursing. Glenda worked as a nurse for over 30 years. On November 6, 1976, Glenda married James Turner at the Church of the Nazarene in Minerva, OH.

Survivors include four children, Cindy (Norman) Berndt, Cheryl Price, Chris Price and Candy Price all of Fairwater, WI; five grandchildren, Angela Berndt of Fairwater, WI, Nathaniel Berndt of Waukau, WI, Robert Berndt of Green Lake, WI, Zachary (Aymee) Berndt of Fond du Lac, WI but currently serving our country in Afghanistan and Krystal Berndt of Taylorsville, NC; four great-grandchildren, Dominique Beek of Berlin, WI, Noah, Willow, Wynsor and another great-grandchild coming in June all of Fond du Lac, WI; four sisters, Karen (Lloyd) Cross of Topeka, KS, Linda Monk of Minerva, OH, Marsha Monk of Minerva, OH and Shellie (Jim) Adamopoulos of Gallatin, TN and one brother, George (Sue) Sanders of Lake Mohawk, OH. Glenda was preceded in death by her mother, Darlene Sanders and step-father, George Sanders Sr.; father, Harold Schroll; husband, James Turner; son, Charles Price and granddaughter, Charlynn Price and two brothers-in-law, Robert and Sam Monk.

Visitation for Glenda will be held on Monday, May 27, 2013, from 9 – 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral service for Glenda will be held on Monday, May 27, 2013, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Randal Beek will officiate. Interment will follow Oak Mound Cemetery in the Town of Alto. Memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society, Midwest Division, N19W24350 Riverwood Drive, Waukesha, WI 53188.
