Glenn F. Page, age 88, of Ripon, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2010, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon, WI.

Glenn was born on September 9, 1921, in Ripon, the son of Henry and Anna (Witt) Page. He graduated from Ripon High School and in 1942, enlisted in the Army Air Corp serving with the 93rd Airborne Troop Carrier Squadron, participating in the “D” Day Invasion. He finished his tour of duty as Crew Chief with Lt. General L.T. Gerow in 1945. Upon his return he attended Cal-Aero Technical School in Glendale, CA.

On October 22, 1949, Glenn married Lois Hyde from Ripon, in Elk Mound, WI. Glenn retired from Speed Queen after 33 years as Manager- Dryer Project Engineer. He was one of the founding members of the Ripon Little League and served as a coach for 13 years. He was a member and participated on numerous boards at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon, supported V.F.W. Schultz-Klemp-Wentland Post #5278, was active in the reunions for WWII 82nd Troop Carrier Squadron, and was an avid Chicago Bear fan.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Lois of Ripon, WI; daughter, Joan (Kyle) Wiggs of Tampa, FL; son, Perry Page of Sarasota, FL; two sisters, Joyce Kahl of Ripon, WI and Emilie Siegmann of McFarland, WI; and numerous nieces and nephews. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers and seven sisters.

Visitation for Glenn Page will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2010, from 4 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon and again on Friday, February 12, 2010, from 10 – 11:00 am at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon.

Funeral Service for Glenn Page will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010, at 11:00 am at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon. Reverend Paul W. Nulton will officiate. Interment will take place at Bluffton Cemetery in the Town of Brooklyn. Memorials may be given to Immanuel United Methodist Church, 401 W. Fond du Lac St. Ripon, WI 54971.
