Glenn Schattschneider

Glenn John Schattschneider, age 83, of Brandon WI, died on Saturday, December 11, 1999, at his home.

Glenn was born August 18, 1916, in Ripon, WI, a son to August and Laura E. (Kupski) Schattschneider. He attended Ripon schools and on September 29, 1939, married Edythe Zech, at Our Saviors Church in Fond du Lac. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale. Glenn was a farmer for 60 years.

Survivors include; Wife Edythe, two daughters; Karen (Milan) Gerber of Brandon, and Sharon (Russell) Rasmussen of Fond du Lac. Four grandchildren; Brent (Sue) Snyder of Markesan; Cindy (Steve) Brodigan of Minnesota; Marcia (Leigh) Weidner, Fond du Lac; and Shawn Snyder of Sun Prairie; two great-grand-daughters, Adrianna Snyder and Emma Brodigan; step grand-children, Milan and Jeff Gerber and one step great-grandchild Shane. He is also survived by two brothers Albert (Grace) Schattschneider and Neal Schattschneider, both of Ripon; one sister; Esther Hess of Berlin; two sisters-in-law, Ruby and Vera, and one brother-in law, David, and also many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son-in-law.

Services will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 15, 1999, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, with Rev. Craig Wolfgram officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service. Inurnment will be at Rosendale Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Hospice.
