Glenn H. Sommers, age 74, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, December 7, 1987, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
Glenn was born on July 31, 1913, in Ripon, WI, the son of Edward and Martha (Wepner) Sommers. He served our country in the United States Army and was enlisted for 30 years. On October 27, 1958, Glenn married Ada Henderson.
Survivors include two sons, Lynn of Ripon and Dennis of Tifton, GA; three stepsons, Norman Wondra of Grandbury, TX, Ronald Wondra of Benning, GA and Bernard Wondra of Oakland, IN; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one sister, Carrol Schlueter of Ripon. He was preceded in death by his wife, one stepdaughter and one brother.
Visitation for Glenn will be held on Thursday, December 10, 1987, from 6 – 7:30 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Glenn will be held on Thursday, December 10, 1987, at 7:30 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend James Mohr officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
