Gordon Bud Bradley, age 89, left this earth to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at Bella Vista Manor in Oshkosh, WI.
Bud was born on July 9, 1921, in the Town of Omro, to Roy and Mayme (Thrall) Bradley. He graduated from Omro High School. Bud met Betty Lou Fisher at a dance in Fairwater and on October 26, 1946 they married. They made their home on their dairy farm in the Town of Omro and lived there their entire married life. Bud made his living farming until he was elected to the Wisconsin State Legislature as State Representative. He spent many hours campaigning and participating in local parades and events in his white 1970 Cadillac convertible. Bud was very proud of the many bills that he helped create, his most popular being the right turn, no stop bill. He served his district faithfully for twenty years. Bud loved hunting and fishing, walking through his woods and playing with his tractors. He was always a farmer at heart. For the past twenty five years, Bud and Betty Lou spent their winters in N. Ft. Myers, Florida. They spent their time at the flea markets and antiquing. They loved being snowbirds. Bud and Betty Lou spent sixty four wonderful years together.
