Gordon Klapperich, age 85, of Rosendale, passed away on October 11, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI.
Gordon was born on September 6, 1924, in Eldorado, WI, the son of Victor and Arvilla (Burgraff) Klapperich. In the year 1947, Gordon married Hazel Smith in Rosendale. He was owner/operator of Gordon Klapperich Trucking and was also a farmer. Gordon was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel; one sister, Sonja (Darwin) Hilt of Rosendale; one brother-in-law, Lyle Smith of Eldorado; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Lyle Klapperich; mother and father-in-law; and one nephew.
Visitation for Gordon Klapperich will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2009, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale.
Funeral Service for Gordon Klapperich will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale. Reverend Charles R. Thompson will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosendale Cemetery in Rosendale. Memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale, P.O. Box 177, Rosendale, WI 54974
