Gordon Orville Stibb, age 74, Green Lake, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 17, 2016.
Gordon was born August 29, 1941, in Town of Mecan, Marquette County, WI, the son of Herman and Irene (Lueck) Stibb. In 2002, Gordon married Pearl Bock in Green Lake County. Gordon was a Heavy Equipment Operator for R & R Wash, worked for Speed Queen in Ripon and was a farmer. He was a handy man and enjoyed restoring tractors. Gordon was a member of the Local 139 Operating Engineers.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl Stibb of Green Lake, WI; three sons, Jay Hardt, Ronald (Barb) Stibb and Kevin (Karen) Stibb; step-daughter, Katy (Tim) Tress; grandchildren, Jay, Joseph, Christine, Vanessa, Tiffany, Amanda, Dustin, Jessie, Tyson and TJ and seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Hazel Weckwerth, Ruby (Tom) Herbst, Carolyn (Darrell) Seehaver, Valerie Stone; brothers, Gilbert (Marlene) Stibb, Floyd (Carolyn) Stibb, Leroy (Margaret) Stibb; brother-in-law, Robert Pamenter and Leland Schueler and sister-in-law, Arvilla Stibb. Gordon is further survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and his dog, Jessica. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Irene Stibb; daughter, Debra Ann Stibb; two sisters, Eunice Pamenter and Verona Schueler; two brothers, Melvin (Darlene) Stibb and Orlo Stibb; brother-in-law, Wilbert Weckwerth.
A Private Celebration of Life for Gordon will be held on Monday, May 23, 2016 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Inurnment will be held at a later date a Memory Hill Cemetery in Princeton. A memorial is being established in his name.
