Gordon Will

Gordon M. Will, age 82, of Markesan, Town of Green Lake, died Saturday, December 13, 1997, at Ripon Medical Center.

He was born January 24, 1915, in Omro, a son to Albert and Daisie (Reed) Will. He was educated in Omro. Until his retirement, Gordon had been plant manager and chief manufacturing engineer at various Speed Queen plants. On October 27, 1962, he married the former Mary Ann Wahoske. He was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Ripon and the Green Lake Lions Club. He lived the majority of his life in the Ripon/Green Lake area.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; 2 daughters, Mary Beth (Arden) Sauer of Ripon and Jean Ann Berger of Sterling, IL; 5 grandchildren, Jeffery (Julie) Sauer of Medford, Rosalie (Brian) Bayer of Wauwatosa, Tony Sauer of Brandon, Kurtis Sauer of Ripon and Grant Bradford of DeKaIb, IL; 3 great-grandchildren; I brother, Albert Will of Omro; and 3 sisters, Loretta Dolske of Omro, Dorothy Hoffman of CO and Emily Fondell of IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, December 16, 1997, at 10:30 AM at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Ripon with Father William L. belle officiating. Interment will be in the Omro Cemetery, Omro. Visitation will be Monday from 5 until 8 PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Memorial gifts may be given to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.
