Mr. Gottlieb Schultz, of age 87, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 1990, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 29, 1902, in Germany, a son of Gottlieb and Anna (Geiger) Schultz. On April 16, 1933, he married Helene Krueger. Mr. Schultz was educated in Germany. He had resided in the Ripon area since 1923. He was a sausage maker in Fond du Lac and at R-Line Foods in Ripon for many years. In addition, he farmed in the Ripon area for 5 years. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Aldon (Anita) Keplin of Brandon, Mrs. Richard (Eileen) Moore of San Diego, CA and Mrs. Dennis (Betty) Sommers of Tifton, GA; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, three brothers and four sisters.
Visitation for Gottlieb will be held on Sunday, March 25, 1990, from 2 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Home for Gottlieb will be held on Monday, March 26, 1990, at 11:00 am at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon. Reverend Robert B. LeCount will officiate. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial is being established.
