Grace Waltenberry

Grace E. Waltenberry, 84, died Saturday, October 15, 1994 at Parkview Care Center in Ripon where she has been a resident for the past three years.
Grace was born March 30, 1910, in the Town of Springvale the daughter of Arthur and Edith Brinkerhoff Loop. Grace attended Brandon Schools and than Fond du Lac Normal. She taught several years in Fairwater before she married Arthur Waltenberry, August 16, 1941 at the Fond du Lac Methodist Church. Grace and her husband farmed in the Ripon area prior to their retirement. Grace was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon and the Rebekah #195 Lodge.
Survivors include five sons, Archie (Donna) Waltenberry of Rosendale, Richard (Barb) Waltenberry of Ripon, John (Judy) Waltenberry of Wisconsin Rapids, Jim (Eileen) Waltenberry of Wales, WI and Bernard (Melanie) Waltenberry of Phoenix, AZ; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents and husband on March 30, 1987.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Reverend Howard Ott will officiate. Burial will be at Cattaraugus Cemetery in the Town of Waupun, Fond du Lac County.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 pm Monday at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home and from 9:00 am Tuesday till the time of service.
A memorial in her name has been established.
