Gregg Yasick

Gregg Alan “Zack” Yasick, age 49, of Green Lake, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2008, at his home in Green Lake, WI.

Gregg was born on March 24, 1959, in Ripon, WI, the son of Gregory and Florence (Reetz) Yasick. He graduated from Ripon High School and later married Laurie Docta on August 22, 1987 in Ripon. Gregg worked as a forklift operator at Oshkosh Truck and also attended St. Catherine of Siena Church. He loved to boat, motorcycle, hunt, and fish. There was never a dull moment with Zack. He was always up beat and could make people laugh.

Survivors include his wife Laurie of Green Lake, WI; sister Betty (Jack) Conklin of Redgranite, WI; aunts and uncles; mother-in-law Donna Docta; sisters-in-law Debbie (Mike) Blank, Patti Docta, Wendy (Michael) Born; brothers-in-law Steve Docta, Peter (Ana) Docta, Randy Docta, Ronnie Docta; special friend and nephew Doug Blank; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Gregory and Florence Yasick and father-in-law Pete Docta Sr.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 2, 2009 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 415 East Fond du Lac Street, Ripon, WI, from 9-11:00 am.

Memorial mass will be held Friday, January 2, 2009 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 415 East Fond du Lac Street, Ripon, WI, at 11:00 am. Reverend Robert A Fictum will officiate. A memorial has been established.
