Gustave H. Hoffman, age 72, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 1954, at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
Gustave was born August 3, 1882, in Ripon, WI, the son of Gustave and Clara (Goelzke) Hoffman. He was educated in the Ripon public schools. Gustave married Melita Rimpler in 1905 and then after her passing, he married Mrs. William Wentland in 1948. Gustave worked and retired from Wisconsin Power and Light Company. He was a member of Modern Woodmen of America and the 15 year club of the WI Power and Light.
Survivors include his wife; one son, William of Boulder, CO; one brother, Clarence of Ripon; one step-son, John Wentland of Billings, Montana and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his former wife and two sisters.
Friends may call on Friday, September 17, 1954, after 4:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Gustave will be held on Saturday, September 18, 1954, at 2:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home with The Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
