Harold Herman Abel, age 66, of Ripon, WI, passed away on December 25, 1986, at Sunnyview Village Nursing Home in Princeton.
Harold was born April 13, 1920, in Berlin, WI, the son of Segismund and Lena (Grams) Abel. He was educated in Berlin and went to serve our country in the United States Army in WWII. On November 17, 1945 he married Elnora Albright until her passing on December 16, 1983. Harold worked as an inspector at Speed Queen. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon, VFW and Past Commander of Schultz-Klemp-Wentland Post #5278.
Survivors include two daughters, Sally (Fred) Kasuboski of Ripon and Karen (Robert) Gallert of Brighton, Colorado; ten grandchildren and two brothers, Alvin of Glendale, Arizona and Clifford of Berlin. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son and one brother.
Visitation for Harold will be held on Sunday, December 28, 1986, from 3 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with a VFW service at 8:00 pm.
Funeral Service for Harold will be held on Monday, December 29, 1986, at 1:00 pm at Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon with Reverend William G. Fenker officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
