Harold G. Beier, age 80, formerly of Willowbrook Apts, Ripon died Monday, October 4, 1999, at Parkview Care Center after a short stay.
He was born March 20, 1919, in the Town of Brooklyn, a son to Arthur J. and Minnie (Helmer) Beier. Harold worked 30 years for Koplin and Kinas and 10 years for the Town of Ripon. On April 11, 1991, he married Adela Grams Ludjack. He was a member of Mount Zion Lutheran Church, Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Adela; sister, Laura Watkins; special niece, Betty (B.J.) Beier; sister-in-law, Carol Beier; brothers-in-law, Alfred (Dorothy) Grams and Herbert (Delila) Grams; several nieces and nephews; step-children, Ardell (Richard) Schoephoester, Jackie (David) Steifner, Debbie (Phillip) Busse, Pam (Jeff) Novak, Jandra (Mike) Freismuth, Allen (Susie) Ludjack and Keith (Georgia) Ludjack; and step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Bernard, Herman and Robert Beier, sisters-in-law, Ruby Beier and Lucille Beier and brother-in-law, Earl Watkins.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 7, 1999, at 2 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with Pastor Paul Mose officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Nepeuskun Cemetery, Town of Nepeuskun. A memorial has been established.
