Harold “Jim” Davy, 73, of W1977 Lawson Dr, Green Lake, died April 20, 1995, at Ripon Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife, Doris; 2 sons, William (Debbie) Davy of Marion, IL and James Davy & a special friend, Kathy Hogan of Lake Zurich, IL; 1 daughter, Nancy (Mark) Young of Elgin, IL; 6 grandchildren, James, Lindsay, Julie and Jon Young, and Heather and Billy Davy; 1 brother, David (Mary Jane) Davy of IL; and 1 sister, Doris (Calvin) Shuett of IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, William.

He was born July 27, 1921 in Wilmington, IL, a son of the late Albert and Mary Malek Davy. After attending school in Barrington, IL, Jim served his country in the Army Air Force during WWII from 1942-45. On October 17, 1947, he married Doris Barsema. Jim was a heavy equipment operating engineer. He lived in Fox River Grove, IL for 40 years prior to moving to Green Lake 10 years ago.

Jim was a lifetime member of Local 150 of Country Side, IL and lifetime member of AF and AM Wilmington Lodge 208. He was a member of the Legion Post #306 of Green Lake and was a past commander 119 Fox River Grove of IL.

Funeral services for the late Harold “Jim” Davy will be Saturday at 10:30 A.M. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. The Rev. Eric Burnard will officiate. Interment will follow in the Bluffton Cemetery, Town of Brooklyn. Family and friends may call Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
