Harold Disterhaft

Harold “Harry” Donald Disterhaft, age 81, of Ripon, WI, died Sunday, October 6, 1996, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital in Waukesha.
He was born July 15, 1915, in Princeton, a son to Stanish and Martha Laboy Disterhaft. He attended St. John’s Catholic School in Princeton. On June 25, 1949, he married the former Marilyn Stadler at Stadler at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oshkosh. He retired from farming in 1975, after farming in the Markesan area 37 years. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; one daughter, Kathleen Disterhaft White of Big Bend and her husband, Phillip; one granddaughter, Laura Beth White; seven step-grandchildren; one brother, John V. Disterhaft of Princeton; and four sisters, Marion Jones of Georgia, Margaret Bogutski of Ripon, Dorothy Redemann of Berlin and Lorraine Przybyl of Berlin. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Edward and Norbert; four sisters, Clara, Helen, Regina and Gertrude.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 8, 1996, from 4 until 7:30 pm with a Rosary at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday, October 9, 1996, at 10 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon with Father John A. Schmitz officiating. Entombment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park in Oshkosh.
