Harold W. Erickson, age 85, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 1987, at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.
Harold was born May 12, 1902, in Hancock, MN, the son of Halvor and Anna (Olson) Erickson. He was educated in Hancock. On November 5, 1921, Harold married Christina Erdman in Hancock, MN until her passing on August 11, 1984. He was a policeman from 1925 until 1947 in Wauwatosa.
Survivors include two sons, Mahlon Erickson of Vero Beach, FL and Halvor Erickson of Markesan; one daughter, June (George) Burback of New Berlin; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, two sisters and one brother.
Visitation for Harold will be held on Saturday, December 26, 1987, from 10 – 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Harold will be held on Saturday, December 26, 1987, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Robert LeCount officiating. Interment will follow at Markesan Memorial Cemetery in Markesan.
