Harold N. Hansen, 86, of Ripon, died May 31, 1994, at Sunnyview Village Nursing Home, Princeton, where he has resided for a brief time.
He was born October 30, 1907, in Millinocket, ME, the son of Herman and Borghill Hansen. He was educated in Milltown, ME, and on February 22, 1930, he married Gertrude Schenck. Mr. Hansen was a manager at Bambergers Department Store in New Jersey. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Millburn, NJ.
Survivors include one son, Harold (Cathie) Hansen of Cranford, NJ; two daughters, Jacqueline (Bernard) Seeko of Hackettstown, NJ, and Gail (Jack) Rohde of Ripon, with whom he made his home since April; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Helen Schenck of Mountainside, NJ, and Gladys Heim of New Hampshire. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Gertrude, one sister, and one brother.
Visitation and funeral services for Harold N. Hansen will be held Friday at the Smith & Smith Funeral Home, Springfield, NJ. Interment will follow Saturday morning at Hollywood Memorial Park Cemetery, Union, NJ. Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
