Harold Frederick Hill, age 93, of Fond du Lac, formerly of Ripon, passed away Thursday morning, April 12, 2007 at HCR Manor Care in Fond du Lac.
Harold was born on July 4, 1913, in Ripon, the son of John and Marie (Schwandt) Hill. He graduated from Ripon High School in 1931, then attended RCA Radio and DeVrys Institutes in Chicago. Harold served our country in the Wisconsin National Guard from 1931-1936. On May 9, 1936 he married Dorothy Stellmacher on the family farm in Ripon. Harold was an electronic technician and a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Ripon.
Survivors include sons, Wayne (Ann) Hill of Campbellsport, Gerald (Phyllis) Hill of Brookfield, Charles Hill of Waukesha and Craig (Betsy) Hill of Hartland, WI; daughter, Karen Emmer (friend, Ken Jordan) of Sussex, WI; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Dorothy on July 31, 2001, 2 sisters, 1 brother and son-in-law, Robert Emmer.
Visitation for Harold Hill will be held on Monday, April 16, 2007 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon.
Funeral Service for Harold Hill will be held on Monday, April 16, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Paul Nulton officiating. Interment will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon.
