Harold F. Hoth, age 93, of Ripon, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2011, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon, WI.
Harold was born on August 1, 1917, in Ripon, the son of Elmer and Frieda (Washkoske) Hoth. He graduated from Ripon High School and served our country in the US Army Air Corp in WWII. On August 30, 1950, Harold married Kathleen Beck. He worked as a methods engineer designing productions line at Speed Queen for 30 years. Harold is a member of the American Legion Brown-Parfitt Post #43 and The Forty and Eight, Ripon Historical Society and Our Saviours United Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Michael Hoth of Virginia Beach, VA; brother, Earl (Charmanie) Hoth of Oshkosh, WI; nephew, James Hoth of Green Lake, WI. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen who passed on September 7, 2009; parents; son, Ronald and brother, Orville.
Visitation for Harold Hoth will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011, from 12 2:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Harold Hoth will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011, at
2:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Mark R. West will officiate. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon with full military honors. Memorials may be given to Our Saviours United Church of Christ, Parish Nurse Fund, 335 Scott St. Ripon, WI 54971.
