Harold Jackowski

Harold “Jack” Jackowski, 74, Ripon, died Saturday, April 18, 1998, at Ripon Medical Center.

He was born November 30, 1923, in Princeton, a son to Mike and Julia (Kasierski) Jackowski. He was a graduate of Green Lake High School, Class of 1941. He married Ruth Ponto on October 15, 1947. He had lived in Ripon most of his life. He had worked at Admanco from 1947, until retiring in March 1986, and was a member of the 25-Year Club of Admanco. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth of Ripon; 3 daughters, Judy Jackowski of Ripon, Jayne Jackowski of Green Bay and Bonnie (Bill) Purtell of Omro; 1 son, John Jackowski of Ripon; 2 granddaughters, Jennifer and Jaclyn Jackowski of Markesan; 2 grandsons, Luke and Nathan Purtell of Omro; 1 sister, Virginia Burns of Fond du Lac; 2 brothers, Eugene (Leone) Jackowski of Markesan and Gordon (Colleen) Jackowski of Fond du Lac; 2 sisters-in-law, Donna Ponto and Angie Jackowski of Markesan; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother & sister, and 2 brothers-in-law.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday, April 21, 1998, at 11 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon with Father John A. Schmitz officiating. Interment will be in Green Lake Center Cemetery, Town of Green Lake. Visitation will be Monday, April 20, 1998, from 5 PM until a Rosary at 7:30 PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon and again on Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of the mass at the church.
