Harold L. Klingbeil, age 94, formerly of 566 HaIl St, died Friday morning, August 20, 1999, at Parkview Care Center where he has lived the past 2 years.
He was born January 14, 1905, in the Town of Brooklyn, a son to William and Amelia (Kuhs) Klingbeil, and received his education in country school. On June 2, 1956, he married Leola Hahn. Harold farmed in the Town of Brooklyn prior to moving to Ripon. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon, and was a member of the church council, ushers club, dartball and Lutheran Brotherhood.
He is survived by 4 nieces, Elaine (Edward) White of Ripon, Aria (Orin) Galow of Brandon, Sylvia (Verne) Wepner of Oshkosh and Joan Beuthin of Green Lake; and sister-in-law, Lillian Klingbeil. He was preceded in death by his wife Leola in November 1998, parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother and 1 brother-in-law.
Funeral service will be Monday, August 23, 1999, at 11 AM at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul Holte officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. A memorial has been established for the church.
