Harold Krause

Harold Lester Krause, age 96, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2011, at Michalene’s in Ripon.
Harold was born March 16, 1915, in Ripon, WI, the son of Charles and Dora (Woehlke) Krause. He attended Ripon High School. On June 5, 1943, Harold married Gertrude Prellwitz. He was a farmer in the Ripon area and a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Gertrude; two brothers, Roy Krause of Ripon, WI and Edwin (Betty) Krause of Ripon, WI and several nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Eloner.
Visitation for Harold Krause will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, from 6 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon, WI 54971.
A Funeral Service will be held immediately following visitation. Pastor Donald Krause will officiate. Interment will take place on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 10:30 am at Loper Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. A memorial is being established.
