Harold Nelson

Harold K. Nelson, age 79, died Sunday, November 16, 1997, at the Fond du Lac County Health Care Center. He was born in Milwaukee, WI on August 26, 1918, to Lawrence and Ethel (Page) Nelson. He attended school in Platteville and served in the U.S. Air Force. Most of his working years he was a drafting mechanical engineer at Oscar Meyer. Harold has been living in Fond du Lac for the past 7 years on Boyd St., and had previously resided in Madison, WI.

Surviving is his wife, Florence of Fond du Lac; step-daughter, Patricia (Chuck) Delaney, step-son-in-law, Bryant Randall of FL, step-son, Robert (Linda) Zeak of Madison, daughter, Jackie (Steve) Leonhardt of Fond du Lac and twelve grandchildren. In addition to his immediate family, Harold is survived by his two sisters, Priscilla Geishecker of Gurnee, IL and Phyllis (John) Ramfield of Fort Worth, TX. Harold was preceded in death by his parents and step-father, Willis Parsons, infant daughter, JoAnn Nelson, step-daughter, Joyce Randall and his brother-in-law, Peter Geishecker.

There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation will take place and inurnment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Berlin.
