Harold Sherman

Mr. Harold Sherman, age 88, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, May 20, 1991, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Sherman was born August 25, 1902, in Minnesota. He was the son of Charles C. and Emma “Dellage” Sherman. He was educated in Chicago, was a farmer and has lived in Ripon since 1940. He was formerly married to Kathryn Shields, she preceded him in death. Mr. Sherman was a Town of Ripon treasurer for 30 years and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ripon.
Survivors include two foster-daughters: Janet Schmick of Oshkosh, Mary Basel of Ripon and her 4 sons, Kenneth Jr., Michael, Joseph and Steven. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends may call from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 1991 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon where a Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 25, 1991 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon with the Reverend John A. Schmitz officiating. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon. A memorial to St. Patrick Church has been established.
