Harold Stellmacher, age 79, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, June 17, 1999, at Manor Care in Fond du Lac.
He was born October 14, 1919, in Ripon, a son to Elmer and Elsa
(Schultz) Stellmacher. He attended school in Ripon and graduated from
Ripon High School. On November 17, 1945, he married Beverly Miller in
Pickett. Until his retirement, Harold had been a die caster at Speed Queen
in Omro for 38 years. He is a member of the Speed Queen 25-Year Club.
During his lifetime he had lived in Ripon, Pickett and Fond du Lac.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly of Fond du Lac; 1 son, Alan (Gloria) Stellmacher and 1 daughter, Marlene Johnson, both of Fond du Lac; 2 grandchildren, Bob (Amy) Stellmacher and Scott Johnson, both of Fond du Lac; 2 great-grandchildren, Ashley and Jared Stellmacher of Fond du Lac; 1 brother, Douglas (Elaine) Stellmacher of Neenah; 1 sister, Marilyn (Bob) Wesner of Oshkosh; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Teresa Johnson.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 19, 1999, at 11 AM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with the Reverend Jonathan Cox officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. lnurnment will be in Liberty Prairie Cemetery, Pickett. A Memorial has been established.
