Harold Widlake

October 31, 1899 — November 15, 1992

Harold Roy Widlake, age 93, of Ripon and currently a resident of Omro Care Center, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 1992, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.

He was born October 31, 1899, in Chard, England, a son to William and Emma (Genge) Widlake. He was educated in Green Lake. On January 25, 1947, he was united in marriage to Ella Kuehn. Mr. Widlake had been employed as a machinist at A.O. Smith in Milwaukee. Since 1971 he and his wife had resided in Ripon. He was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church of Ripon.

He is survived by one brother, John (Emily) Widlake and one sister, Grace Jones, both of Ripon; and two nephews, Tom and Bill Widlake. Preceding him in death were his wife on January 25, 1983, and one brother and one sister.

Funeral Services for Mr. Widlake will be held Tuesday, November 17, 1992 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Ripon. The Reverend Robert J.C. Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. Visitation is from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 16, 1992 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. A memorial in his name has been established for St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Ripon.
