Harry Hoodie, age 72, of Fairwater, WI, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI.
Harry was born January 29, 1942, in Brandon, Wisconsin, the son of Harry and Helen (Sina) Hoodie. He graduated from Markesan High School. Harry was a farmer for his entire life and also drove truck for Ballweg Implement for 25 years. He enjoyed discussing farming, deer hunting, the Packers, Brewers, Badgers and watching television, especially RFD TV.
Survivors include one son, Bob (Melissa) Hoodie of Oshkosh, WI; three daughters, Amy (Kirk) Dornfeld of Markesan, WI, Tyffany (Matt) Gasper of Bangor, WI and Jamie Lopez of Ripon, WI; ten grandchildren; four sisters, Rita (Bud) Mielke of Markesan, WI, Ginny Robson of Sun Prairie, WI, Regina Burk of Waupun, WI and Sue Hoodie of Omro, WI; his special friend, Roberta Tetzlaff of Ripon, WI and her children, Glenn (Kim) Tetzlaff and Cathy (Bradley) Rost and their families all of Green Lake, WI. Harry was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother.
Visitation for Harry will be held on Monday, August 4, 2014 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Butzin Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Drive, Ripon, WI 54971.
Prayer Service for Harry will be held on Monday, August 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Father William Whalen will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to American Diabetes Association, 375 Bishops Way #220, Brookfield, WI 53005.
