Harry P. Wrzinske, age 89, formerly of Ripon, died under Hospice and family care Mon-day evening, February 4, 2002, at his home in Oshkosh.
He was born June 22, 1912, in Ripon, a son to Henry and Anna (Jantz) Wrzinske. He at-tended school in Ripon. On June 22, 1935, he married Erna Born at St. Wenceslaus parson-age in Ripon. With the exception of the past two years, Harry had lived in the Ripon area for over 60 years as a self-employed carpenter/contractor. For 15 years, he and Erna also had a home on Green Lake. Mr. Wrzinske was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Erna Wrzinske of Oshkosh; three daughters, Jeanette Williams of Oshkosh, Shirley Hinshaw of Sun City West, AZ, and Barbara Benthein of Sacramento, CA; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Catherine Berndt of Waupun; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; one sister; and two grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday, February 7, 2002, at 11 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Ripon, with Father William H. Whalen officiating. Interment will be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon. There will be no visitation. Memori-als may be made to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church or the Ripon Lions Club. Special thanks to Fond du Lac Hospice, the St. Wenceslaus Church Family, and Larsen-Winchester and Ripon Lions Club.
