Harvey H. Andersen, 81, of Poy Sippi, WI, died on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh, WI.
Born in Racine on October 14, 1936, he was the son of the late Henry and Ethel (Baumgartener) Andersen. He attended Racine County schools and was a graduate of Horlick High School.
In 1984, he was united in marriage to Mary (Goluba) Andersen. Harvey served in the US Army from 1956 to 1958. Harvey was very social and loved being around people. He loved to share old stories and could keep you captivated for hours with his animated recollection of his adventures. He loved boating, canoeing, fishing, hunting and traveling. He was an avid gun enthusiast and loved nature and the outdoors.
He was survived by his two nephews, Jeffrey (Ann ) Andersen of Fort Collins, CO, Gregg (Pamela) Andersen of West Bend, WI; a great-niece, Kim Andersen of Fremont, WI; and many cousins of Kenosha, WI.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Andersen, his son Rusty Andersen, and brothers David and Neil Andersen.
