Mr. Harvey C. Failor, age 70, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, April 1, 1991, at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center, Neenah.
Mr. Failor was born on March 20, 1921, in Fond du Lac, the son of Andrew and Lulu (Stephenson) Failor. He was educated in Fond du Lac, resided in Ripon the last 22 years and was the owner of Drive-In Liquor in Ripon.
On September 8, 1946, Harvey married Joy Gilmore. Prior to their marriage, he served in the U.S. Army 101st Military Police Battalion from July 13, 1942 until October 21, 1945. Mr. Failor was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Joy; two sons, Gary (Janie) Failor and Dale (Barbara) Failor, both of Ripon; one granddaughter, Michelle; one brother, Edgar and one sister, Violet Failor, both of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.
Friends may call from 4 until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 1991, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Services will be held Thursday, April 4, 1991 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Reverend James D. Mohr officiating. Entombment will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery, Fond du Lac.
