Harvey A. Miller, 79, of 504 Russell Dr. Ripon, died Thursday, June 30, 1994, at Ripon Medical Center.
Mr. Miller was born May 21, 1915, and educated in Amery, WI, the son of Frank and Anna Miller.
Mr. Miller honorably served in WWII for two years and was stationed in Hawaii. He was employed as a produce manager of A and P store of Oshkosh for 30 years until his retirement. He married Romaine Timm November 20, 1938. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church of Ripon and an active member of the V.F.W. Mr. Miller was an avid bowler and golfer.
Survivors include one son, Jan H. Miller of Menasha; four grandchildren, Jacqueline Schultz of Green Lake, Kathryn Shaw, Wendy Bernier, Kerry Schultz all of Ripon; one brother, Lawerence Miller of Amery; step-mother-in-law, Laura Timm of Ripon. He was preceded in death by his wife January 16, 1994, one daughter, Roxanne Schultz; one brother and four sisters.
Friends and relatives may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 1, 1994, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon, with a V.F.W. service at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with the Reverend David Meyer of Berlin officiating.
Entombment will be Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. at Shrine of Rest Chapel Mausoleum, Fond du Lac. A memorial has been established for Messiah Lutheran Church and Life Line of Ripon.
