Hattie Hansen, 95, formerly of Ripon, died Sunday, July 16, 2000, at Juliette Manor in Berlin where she had resided for serveral years.
She was born September 7, 1904, in Princeton, a daughter to Leverette and Helen (BesseX) Bartow. She received her education in Princeton, and on February 18, 1922, she married Edwin Hansen. Hattie clerked at Schultz Brothers Variety Store lfl Ripon for 25 years. She had lived in Ripon most of her life7 and was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ, the Ladies Guild, and was a church greeter. She also belonged to various card clubs and the Garden Club of Ripon.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Jerry Bierman of Oshkosh and
Bernice Roeschlein of Park Ridge, IL, and Hattie was Nana to 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1984; one son, Harold Hansen in 2000; 1 sister, 7 brothers, and 2 sons-in-law, Butch and George.
Funeral service for Hattie Hansen will be 3 p.m. Saturday, July
2000, at the Chapel of Our Saviours United Church of Christ, Ripon. Reverend Rebecca A. Johnston will officiate, and interment will be in Hillside cemetery, Ripon. Visitation will be Saturday from 1-1-3 p.m. at the Chapel. A memorial has been established.
