Hazel Christensen

Hazel Adel Christensen, age 89, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on October 26, 1984, at home.

Hazel was born September 15, 1895, in Ives Groves, WI, the daughter of William and Emma (Stallmann) Voge. She married Alfred Christensen on November 6, 1919 until his death on January 6, 1970. Hazel worked as a cooks assistant at Van Rhyns and Alfred’s. She was a member of the Federated Church of Green Lake, member of Easter Star, a member of the 20th Century Club of Green Lake, of the Legion Auxiliary of Green Lake and was a past Sheriff of Green Lake County from 1944 to 1946.

Survivors include two brothers, Leslie Voge of Union Grove, WI and Vern Voge of St. Petersburg, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, four sisters and one brother.

Visitation for Hazel will be held on Monday, October 29, 1984, from 1 – 1:30 pm in the Chapel of West Lawn Memorial Park in Racine.

Funeral Service for Hazel will be held on Monday, October 29, 1984, at 1:30 pm in the Chapel of West Lawn Memorial Park in Racine with Reverend Stephen Polster officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. A memorial has been established.
