Hazel D. Miller, age 96, of Parkview Care Center in Ripon, died Tuesday morning, April 17, 2001, at Ripon Medical Center.
She was born May 17, 1904, in Fairwater, a daughter to Charles and Anna (Polloch) Dane. She attended school in Fairwater and later at the age of 18, she married William C. Miller and they made their home in Fairwater. Hazel had worked at the egg plant in Ripon, Advertisers Mfg Co. in Ripon, and Fairwater American Stores Co. Mrs. Miller was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Alice Miller of Ripon; grandson, Larry Miller of Milwaukee; three step-granddaughters, Sue (Kevin) Brown of Ripon, Joyce (Gus) Evans of Appleton and Wanda Roscoe of Phoenix, AZ; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Ron Bayer of Ripon. Preceding her in death were her husband in 1986, one daughter, Myrle; one son, Raymond; and one step-granddaughter, Karry Baker.
Funeral service for Hazel D. Miller will be Thursday, April 19, 2001, at 11am at Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon with the Reverend Rebecca A. Johnston officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:30 am until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be in the Fairwater Cemetery in Fairwater. Memorials to Our Saviours United Church of Christ.
