Hazel Whitney, 93, of Ripon, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2007 at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
Hazel was born on February 6, 1914 the daughter of Harvey K. and Carrie (Friday) Brunson in the Town of Metomen. She attended Osborn School and was a graduate of Rosendale High School. Hazel worked as a homemaker. On June 19, 1935 she married Raymond Whitney and they made their home in Rosendale. They moved to Ripon in 1992. Hazel was a member of ELO Evangelical Church in Pickett, WI.
Survivors include one son; Randall (Dianne) Whitney of Juda, WI, one daughter; Francine (Dale) Weatherwax of Cambria, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and two nieces. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother; Percy Brunson.
Visitation for Hazel Whitney will be held on Monday, June 25, 2007 from 10:30-11:30AM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Services for Hazel Whitney will be held on Monday, June 25, 2007 at 11:30AM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Pastor Judith Lipp officiating. Interment will follow in Rosendale Cemetery, Rosendale. A memorial has been established.
