Helen J. Burgeson, of Glen Ellyn, IL, passed away on November 2, 1987, at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst, IL.
Helen was born February 1, 1926, the daughter of Harry and Emma (Sievers) Michels. She graduated from high school in Cedarburg, WI and went on to further her education at the University of Wiconsin-Madison. Helen married Jack Burgeson on January 28, 1950 in Madison. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church of Lombard, IL.
Survivors include her husband, Jack; daughter, Mary; son, John M.; mother, Emma Michels of Green Lake and sister, Pat Michels of Green Lake. She was preceded in death by her father.
Private services for Helen will be held on Friday, November 6, 1987, at 1:00 pm at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon with Reverend Kenneth Schroeder officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lake Center Cemetery in the Town of Green Lake. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
