Helen H. Doehling nee Husting, of Ripon, died Saturday October 10, 1998, at Parkview Care Center.
She was born August 4, 1909, in Fond du Lac to Bonduel and Katherine (Anderson) Husting. She was married to Carl Doehling.
Helen attended the Fond du Lac public schools, Milwaukee Normal Teachers School and Ripon College. She was a teacher in the Ripon public school system at Roosevelt School for 43 years. She was a member of The Christian Science Church of Ripon and Fond du Lac.
Survivors include her sister Margaret Jenz, nephews James (Diane) Jenz,
Thomas Jenz, Jim Husting, Jon Husting, nieces Judith (Patrick) Houlihan, Diane
Christian, Katie Bent, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in
death by her husband Carl in 1986, parents, brother Jack Husting, and sister
Isabelle Dyckhoff.
Friends may call Tuesday, October 13, 1998, from 4 until 7 PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 14, 1998, at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Garden of the Cross Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Ripon College Carl Doehling Scholarship Fund.
