Mrs. Helen Foster, 91, a former Ripon resident, died Saturday, June 18, 1988 at the Lillian Kerr Nursing Home in Phelps, WI.
She was born September 16, 1896 in Hungary to Phillip and Catherine Baker Klaus. On July 3, 1923 she married William P. Foster. Reverend Foster preceded her in death on July 11, 1974.
Mrs. Foster was educated in Hungary. She was a housewife and had resided in Ripon from 1941 until 1986.
Survivors include her son, Stephen Foster of Phelps; one daughter, Mrs. Leon Gitzel of Ripon; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Friends may call from 1:00 until 2:30 pm, Monday, June 20, 1988 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Graveside services will be at 3:00 pm, Monday at the Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. The Reverend Henry Graf will officiate.
