Helen Ruth Hamberger, 86, died August 6, 1994, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
She was born on June 5, 1908, in the Township of Manchester, Green Lake County, the daughter of Steve and Tillie Bukowski Jackowski. She was educated in Manchester. On November 16, 1940, she married Clarence Hamberger. For many years they owned and operated the Twin H Motel on Hwy 23 east of Ripon. He passed away on November 13, 1972. Helen was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon.
Survived by one brother, Norbert (Geraldine) Jackowski of Markesan; two nieces, Delores Albright of Ripon and Gail Kamphuis of Fond du Lac; two nephews, Alan Jackowski of Saint Cloud and Marc Jackowski of Markesan; one brother-in-law, Leonard (Marion) Hamberger of Ripon; one sister-in-law, Adella Krueger of Ripon and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence and one sister, Dorothy.
The family will receive friends Friday from 5 until 5:30 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. A prayer service will follow at 5:30 pm and inurnment will be at 6:00 pm at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. Reverend John A. Schmitz will officiate.
A memorial has been established in her name for St. Patrick Catholic Church.
