Helen Klingbeil

Helen M. Klingbeil, age 89, of the Town of Brooklyn, WI, was called to her heavenly home on Saturday evening, December 21, 1996, at Berlin Memorial Hospital.

Helen was born January 24, 1907, to the late August and Mathilda Liptow Krentz in Green Lake County. She received her education in Green Lake schools. Helen married Carl Frank Klingbeil on February 11, 1929, in Waukegan, IL, and the couple farmed most of their life. She was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.

Surviving Helen is her son, Arlyn (Maxine) Klingbeil of Sheboygan Falls; three grandsons, Kevin (Shirley) Klingbeil of Madison, David (Rosalie) Klingbeil of Sheboygan and Michael (Roxanne) Klingbeil of Cleveland; one granddaughter, Cynthia of Shorewood; six great-grandchildren, Tanya, Brian, Carl, Travis, Ashley and Taylor; one sister, Laura Hasse of Kohler; nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; one brother, Fred Krentz and a sister, Mrs. Edna Zahn.

Funeral service will be Friday, December 27, 1996, at 11 am at the Chapel of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. Reverend James D. Mohr will officiate and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 26, 1996, from 4 until 7 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon and again on Friday from 10 am until the time of the service at the church. Memorial contribution will be given to Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in her name.
