Helen Elizabeth Lieske, 81 of Ripon, WI, died Saturday, December 31, 1994, at Ripon Medical Center.
She was born March 27, 1913, in Ripon, the daughter of Arthur and Ida Schliepp Eggelston. Helen was educated in Ripon and attended Business College of Milwaukee. She married Arnold Lieske, April 27, 1932. They lived in Ripon from 1932 to 1948, then in Steamboat Springs, CO until 1974 moving back to Ripon. Helen was a housewife, and a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ of Ripon. She had a love for music, horseback riding and animals.
She is further survived by her husband, one son, Arnold Jr. (Mary Ann) of Steamboat Springs, CO. One daughter, Marie Philman of Hayden, CO.; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday morning January 3 at 11:00 am at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. Reverend James D. Mohr will be officiating. Burial will follow at Loper Cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday at 10 am until the time of service at the church. A memorial has been established in her name for the church.
